I clicked on a department button and it took me to the “Donate” page. Can I make a gift on the Give Sac State Day platform after April 23 at 7 p.m.?
No, the “Donate” page will not be functional after Give Sac State Day ends on April 23 at 7 p.m. You may be able to access the “Donate” page after then, but you will not be able to complete your gift transaction. If you would like to make an online gift after April 23, please click here for the online giving site.
I see that there is a "Give Early" option. Will gifts made early count towards the Give Sac State Day totals? Will early gifts also count towards the various challenges?
Gifts made via the "Give Early" option will count towards the overall Give Sac State Day totals. The "Give Early" option is for individuals who may not have computer or online access during Give Sac State Day. However, early gifts will not count towards activating challenges. All challenges are only active during the 36 hours of Give Sac State Day (Fri, Apr 22 at 7am to Sat, Apr 23 at 7pm), and only gifts made during those 36 hours will count towards the challenge totals.
What if the fund or program I want to donate to is not listed?
You will be able to select "other" during checkout and type in the fund of your choice. You will first need to select an option in the “Department or Program” drop down, so we suggest choosing the Sac State Greatest Needs Fund or a College, Department, or Program. Next, select "Other" in the “Fund Designation” drop down. There will then be a place to type in the fund or program you would like to support.
Can I give to more than one area?
Yes, you can make gifts to up to four (4) funds when you check out. Make sure to select "Add a Donation" on the gift menu to select the other areas you would like to support. Your card will only be charged once for the sum of your donations.
Is there a minimum donation amount?
Yes, the minimum donation amount is $5 per fund.
When will my card be charged?
Your credit or debit card will be charged immediately upon finalizing your online gift transaction.
