A New Home for Learning: The Placer Campus
Sacramento State’s Placer Campus will be more than just a new place of learning—it will be a gateway to opportunity for thousands of students in Placer County and beyond. This interdisciplinary, hands-on educational experience will unite learning, research, community, and industry to drive innovation and break barriers within Placer County. With groundbreaking set for 2027 and the first building set to open in the 2028-2029 academic year, the Placer Campus aims to offer students the chance to explore academic clusters such as Forensic Science, Environmental Sustainability, Public Health, and Urban Planning. By partnering with Sierra College, we’re making higher education more accessible and impactful, bringing it closer to home. Your support will help turn this dream campus into a reality, enabling students to develop the skills and knowledge to lead groundbreaking research, serve their communities, and succeed in today’s competitive world. Give for opportunity. Give for access. Together, we can empower the next generation and shape the future.
Thank you for believing in the potential of our students and our community.
