ECS Teaching and Research Building

A Place Where Innovation Takes Flight

At Sacramento State's College of Engineering & Computer Science, students bring their diverse perspectives and talents together to solve real-world challenges. Our dedicated learners are ready to shape the future of engineering, computer science, and construction management – they just need the right space to do it. The new Ernest E. Tschannen Engineering Teaching & Research Building transforms how our students learn by replacing Santa Clara Hall with a modern 100,000-square-foot facility designed for hands-on discovery.

Your support creates opportunities for students to thrive in state-of-the-art teaching and research labs. This new sustainable building will give them room to work together, test ideas, and develop solutions that benefit our entire region. As local and national demand grows for skilled graduates in engineering and technology fields, your gift helps ensure Sacramento State students are ready to lead with the experience employers need.

We invite you to be part of this transformative project. Your donation to the Ernest E. Tschannen Engineering Teaching & Research Building will help create a modern learning environment where students can turn their passion for innovation into real-world solutions.

Thank you for investing in our students' success and helping shape the future of engineering education at Sacramento State.
