This groundbreaking initiative advances a legacy of Black excellence by offering a rigorous, interdisciplinary academic experience centered on Black history, life, culture, and achievement. Open to all students with an interest in this field of study, the Black Honors College reflects Sacramento State’s commitment to innovation, equity, and academic distinction.
The Black Honors College provides specialized coursework, faculty-mentored research, paid internships, and leadership development opportunities with a focus on economic empowerment and self-determination.
