The Wileety Native American College at Sacramento State is the first of its kind in the California State University system. Grounded in Native knowledge, culture, and community, the College prepares students to succeed academically, professionally, and as leaders within Native communities and beyond — at the local, state, and national levels.
The Wileety Native American College provides career- and leadership-focused training that supports students’ professional development while honoring Native context and identity. Through a cohort-based model, students build strong peer networks that foster connection, collaboration, and long-term support.
Student support services are coordinated through the College to create a more seamless pathway through the University. Together, these experiences help students thrive academically, strengthen persistence, and prepare for meaningful futures rooted in culture, purpose, and leadership.
