We are a community of teachers, scholars, writers, students, staff, and alumni who embrace, love, and promote learning in composition, creative writing, English education, linguistics, literature, film, and the teaching of English as a second language.

We invite you to join our mission and make a gift to help support the next generation of scholars and writers.

A donation to the department of English will help:

  • Support graduate and undergraduate fellowships and awards.
  • Enhance public lectures and readings open for students, alumni and the community to share their work.
  • Provide for emerging needs that support both faculty and student success.
