Scholarships
Your Sacramento State Alumni Association also provides dozens of scholarships every year to current students in all majors. Scholarship awards range in size from $500 to $3,000 for the academic year and help Sacramento State students pursue their higher education dreams.
Chapter Support
Through the efforts of their members, each chapter hosts activities, mentors students, and many award scholarships. Your chapter scholarship support enables various chapters to provide additional scholarships, reaching more students who would otherwise be unable to attend a university.
The Golden Hive Scholarship celebrates the legacy of alumni that graduated 50 years ago or more and supports the academic pursuits of our current Hornet students. Nancy and Aleck Darr founded the scholarship in honor of Nancy’s graduation in 1970. Now, the Darrs invite fellow alumni from all class years to join them in supporting students through the Golden Hive Scholarship. Please join the Darrs in changing the future today!
