Dean's Innovation Fund

Dr. Jenni Murphy serves as Dean for the College of Continuing Education. She is committed to the development and delivery of programs that meet the ever-changing and diverse needs of learners and employers in the region. Dean Murphy’s innovation fund supports programs such as:

Emergency assistance for adult learners – provide financial support when unexpected situations arise that prevent an adult learner from continuing their education (housing, transportation, family support, health, natural disaster, etc.)
Near-completers outreach – help adults in our community with fewer than 15 units complete their degree. Provide outreach about degree completion programs to get adults across the finish line and improve their earning potential, economic contribution and personal sense of pride.
HornetAttain! – develop curriculum, pilot programing, train achievement advisors, convene collaborations, and design toolkits to shrink the wage and educational attainment gap by helping adults finish their degree at Sacramento State
Build responsive programming - innovate within CCE to meet the demands of employers, supply equipment, and advance opportunities for adults in our community.
