School of Nursing

The health of all people relies on a healthy supply of well-educated nurses. Sacramento State’s School of Nursing is known for its high quality standards, and our students are highly sought after by employers. Our awesome faculty, state-of-the-art equipment and dedicated students make Sacramento State’s School of Nursing one of the best, and our goal is to continue supporting our future nurses.

The COVID-19 pandemic has left many nursing students uncertain of what the remainder of their education will look like. Limited clinical placement sites, transitioning to online learning, and not having hands-on access to the simulation and skills labs is impacting many of our students. These times are very challenging but the School of Nursing will persevere and is committed to helping our students be successful during this time of adversity.

The Sacramento State School of Nursing has an emergency fund developed specifically to help nursing students during difficult financial times, such as these. Please consider contributing to this fund and provide much needed help to our nursing students as they persevere in during this pandemic.

Thank you in advance for your support.
