Dean's Innovation Fund

Dr. Jenni Murphy serves as Dean for the College of Continuing Education. She is committed to the development and delivery of programs that meet the ever-changing and diverse needs of learners and employers in the region. Dean Murphy’s innovation fund supports programs such as:

Emergency assistance for adult learners – provide financial support when unexpected situations arise that prevent an adult learner from continuing their education (housing, transportation, family support, health, natural disaster, etc.)
Near-completers outreach – help adults in our community with fewer than 15 units complete their degree: learn about degree completion programs to get them across the finish line and improve their earning potential, economic contribution and personal sense of pride
ProjectAttain! – develop curriculum, pilot programing, train navigators, convene collaborations and design toolkits to shrink the wage and educational attainment gap by helping adults earn their GED, certificate or degree
Extension programs – supply equipment and materials for open enrollment certificate programs
