Give Sac State Day 2019

The Philosophy Department at Sacramento State is a fun and energetic place that still treats serious things with the attention they deserve, offering three major tracks and an Ethics Center that hosts an annual symposium for the campus and community. Philosophy builds on the findings of many other academic disciplines and, in its methods, stresses clear, rigorous, and systematic thought.

Gifts to the department of Philosophy and the Center for Practical and Professional Ethics support scholarships for our students, assist with design of innovative and new creative activity, encourage faculty and student collaborative research and provide resources to keep our center running and active with content that fosters inclusiveness, respect for human differences and concern for others.
