The College of Continuing Education’s (CCE) innovative programs provide educational pathways for learners of all ages to help them grow in a new direction, advance their skills and redefine the possible. We have been offering lifelong learning opportunities since 1951. As a self-supporting unit of Sacramento State, CCE receives no public funding. Your gift will help us strengthen and build our programming.

As one of eight colleges at Sac State, CCE extends the mission of the University by providing access to innovative educational and professional programming that meets student needs and industry demands.
We partner with Align Capital Region and the Project Attain initiative to increase educational attainment for our region’s working age adults. We also partner with Impact Foundry, which provides a wealth of resources to strengthen and sustain the nonprofit community.
Programs are offered on Sacramento State’s main campus, including Napa Hall (the home of CCE); the University’s satellite hub, Downtown Sacramento State; onsite; and online.
Learning opportunities include:
- Degree completion programs and courses for academic credit
- Non-credit business, management and leadership certificate programs
- Workforce and community solutions, including customized training
- Conferences, training and organizational development
- Summer Session, Winter Intersession and Open University
- Summer Academies for High School Students
- International programs
