Why we need your support
At Sacramento State, we are proud to be the oldest nationally accredited program of Recreation Administration in the CSU System. Our concentrations include Recreation and Park Management, Recreation Therapy, and Hospitality and Tourism Management. The Recreation Therapy program had rapidly grown over the years, and once again, the department had a first-time pass rate on the NCTRC exam above 90%, indicating that the program is strong and preparing students to work in the field. At over 160 students, our Recreation Therapy program is one of the largest in the western US. For almost 65 years, the Recreation and Park Management program has been graduating our leaders in community and outdoor recreation management, event planning, non-profit agencies and so much more. Our programs provide students with exciting, broad-based curricula that include both stimulating in-class coursework and practical out-of-class field experience.
How you can help
The Department of Recreation, Parks, and Tourism Administration encourage gifts to the following fund, but with the ever-increasing need for philanthropic support, a gift to any department or program is greatly appreciated.
