When the Sacramento State Planetarium opens this fall, it will be a destination for thousands of Sacramento-area school children and lifelong learners interested in astronomy, as well as for Sacramento State students and faculty. The planetarium is part of our new Ernest E. Tschannen Science Complex, which also includes an observatory. This will be the only planetarium/observatory venue within a 90-mile radius, and the largest of only three in the California State University system.
We are offering a special opportunity to show your support for the planetarium and STEM education. With your gift of $1,000, you will have an opportunity to name a seat in the new planetarium.
Your donation will help fund planetarium operations and help build an endowment for the planetarium to support ongoing programming. Plus, you will see your name in print in our newest academic building, leaving a lasting legacy on campus.
Enter your preferred recognition name (approximately 20 characters) in the open comments section when you check out.
