The health of all people relies on a robust supply of well-educated nurses and the need for nurses is growing due to the pandemic. Sacramento State’s School of Nursing is known for its high-quality standards, and our students are highly sought after by employers. Our awesome faculty, state-of-the-art equipment and dedicated students make Sacramento State’s School of Nursing one of the best, and our goal is to continue supporting our future nurses.
As the campus transitions back to in person learning, our students are still feeling the impacts of COVID-19 from the last two years. Our students have had to remain extra flexible due to displacement from, or last-minute changes in, their clinicals. This means that, more than ever, it is harder for them to work and meet their financial burden. Even still, our students have managed to continue to keep a smile on their faces while working hard to complete their degree. These times have been challenging, but the School of Nursing continues to persevere and is committed to helping our students be successful during times of adversity.
The Sacramento State School of Nursing has a number of ways to help students. One is an emergency fund developed specifically to help nursing students during difficult financial times, such as these. It can make the difference of helping a student stay in the program and be available in the future when you or a loved one needs nursing care. Please consider contributing to this fund and provide much needed help to our nursing students as they persevere in during this pandemic.
Thank you in advance for your support.
