The Sacramento State Alumni Association (SSAA) is your Hornet connection for life. SSAA provides the opportunity to develop professional networks, advance social interests, volunteer in the community, engage with students, continue your education, and reconnect with your alma mater.
Your generous donation supports engaging programming year-round for students, alumni, and our community, plus funding student scholarships.
Did you know that SSAA offers events focused on networking and professional advancement for current students as well as alumni looking to make a career move? The Alumni Association's programs provide resources for current students and alumni to learn more about life after college, paths to employment, and career success.
With your gift of $500+ to support Alumni & Student Engagement, we welcome you into the Alumni Circle, which provides you with exclusive communications and engagement opportunities. Plus, Jennifer Barber will donate $1,000 if 15 individuals join the Alumni Circle as part of Give Sac State Day! |
SSAA also provides dozens of scholarships every year to current students in all majors. Scholarship awards range in size from $500 to $3,500 for the academic year and help Sacramento State students pursue their higher education dreams.
Looking to support SSAA President Wally Borland’s effort to enhance community access to events? Join in by supporting the Access Opportunity Champions campaign!
Chapter Support
Through the efforts of volunteer leaders and members, each chapter hosts activities, mentors’ students, and many award scholarships. Your chapter support enables various chapters to provide additional scholarships, reaching more students who would otherwise be unable to attend Sacramento State.
The Golden Hive Scholarship celebrates the legacy of alumni who graduated 50 or more years ago and supports the academic pursuits of current Hornet students. Nancy and Aleck Darr founded the scholarship in honor of Nancy’s graduation in 1970. Alumni from all class years are invited to join them in supporting students through the Golden Hive Scholarship.
Tax-deductible donations of any size are greatly appreciated. Your support keeps programming and membership free to students, alumni and our community.
