For more than 70 years, the Department of Communication Sciences and Disorders has remained committed to providing the community with exceptional speech, language, and hearing services through our on-campus clinic, the Maryjane Rees Language, Speech, and Hearing Center (MRLSHC). Not only have we graduated top-ranked clinicians over the years following our highly respected clinical education, we have positively impacted the lives of thousands of people across the life span by providing compassionate and quality-based services.
Lives were impacted during the COVID-19 pandemic. Now, as we have moved back to providing face-to-face instruction and clinical services, updates in technology are needed in our on-campus clinics. We opened our brand-new Audiology clinic in the Fall of 2021. In the Fall of 2022, we accepted our third cohort of Doctor of Audiology (Au.D.) students and made plans for a hearing aid refurbishing program to support our local Sacramento community through our donations-only clinic model. Join us this Fall, 2023 to celebrate the 70th anniversary of our clinics. Please join us in celebrating!
Your support has always, but especially during these times, helped us offer a leading education to our students.
Please consider contributing to any of our Communication Sciences and Disorders funds. Thank you in advance for your support.
