Sacramento State’s new StingerStudio is a hands-on, collaborative learning environment where students of all backgrounds can engage in making. More than a science lab, design or art room, or virtual reality lab, this is the ultimate versatile space for students to come together, explore ideas, and make things happen.
StingerStudio encourages students to develop new skills, solve complex problems, and discover real-world solutions for our future. StingerStudio provides students with experiences and connections that prepare them for careers in the knowledge-driven economy. This learning environment is one of inquiry, imagination, and experimentation. Here students develop positive learning traits like initiative, flexibility, persistence and collaboration.

The new, nearly 6,000 square foot makerspace is first of its kind at Sacramento State and is open and accessible to ALL students.
