Electrical & Electronic Engineering Dept

We are proud to be the US News and World Report Nationally Ranked 16th Electrical & Electronic Engineering Program!

The Department of Electrical and Electronic Engineering offers a Bachelor of Science (BS) and Master of Science (MS) in Electrical and Electronic Engineering. We prepare electrical engineers to design systems that generate, transmit and distribute electricity and electronic engineers to design electronic devices which perform computation, communication, or control of robots and machines. Our graduates go on to work with technologies ranging from large power lines and generators to tiny integrated circuits containing billions of transistors.

Advanced Control System Laboratory:

The EEE department is planning to bring new areas of research and education for both graduate and undergraduate programs by developing new laboratories in power, control and robotics to facilitate students with current knowledge required by the industry. The main laboratory and studios are as follows:

Distributed Control of Networked Control Systems such as Smart Grids and Robotics Cooperation

Smart Grid Structure

Autonomous Connected Vehicles

Autonomous Cars

Self-Driving Car Research and Education Studio

Quanser Self-Driving Car Studio

Competitive Robotics Club:

The purpose of Competitive Robotics club is to promote professional development through team-based engineering projects, experience, and relevant applications of academic material, as well as community and campus involvement. These projects would help many students build relevant skill that would prepare them for their fields. The club is always in need of new materials to allow students to experiment and discover new ways of how to implement their ideas. Equipment and tools also play a huge part in what students can achieve in the club. With the right tools, students would be able to put their best work forward quickly and efficiently.

Your donation will provide critical resources to the Department of Electrical and Electronic Engineering to respond to the challenges faced today and will have an immediate impact.
