Hi, my name is Kevin Kurtz and I am the head Men’s Tennis coach!
I have coached the Men’s team here at Sac State for over 17 years. It has been an amazing journey. This Give Sac State Day, I ask that you consider giving a gift to the Men’s Tennis program. We want to give each and every student-athlete on our team the best possible college experience.
Our first priority for our student-athletes is to feed them more.
With your donation we can have a weekly team meal. With rising food costs this would help our athletes a lot. A weekly team meal will cost $4,000.
Our second priority for our student-athletes is to get new tennis rackets into their tennis bag every year.
Hornet tennis players go through three to four rackets a year. This would be a great perk for the tennis program. This cost would be $5,500 per year.
Next, SwingVision – a live stream service.
This would allow parents, fans, and former players to watch our home tennis matches. It will also cut-out the time between points so players can watch their match in 15-20 minutes. Additionally, the players’ statistics can be saved for every match or practice. Each player would then have access to all recorded matches and statistics to watch whenever they want. The total for this service is $7,300.
Lastly, our Spring Break Trip is $10,000.
