Sacramento State seeks to expand innovation and student learning through the modernization of the College of Engineering & Computer Science (ECS) facilities to:
- Provide experiential and interdisciplinary education in a modern setting
- Meet student demand for evolving engineering, computer science, and construction management degrees
- Meet demand for graduates to meet local, state, and national goals
The Ernest E. Tschannen Engineering Teaching & Research Building will replace outdated facilities in Santa Clara Hall with a 100,000-square-foot building equipped with teaching and researching labs allowing us to harness our strengths in education.
Through your donation, we will be able to replace outdated facilities to ensure that our students have more space for hands-on learning in a modern, open, sustainable, and environmentally-conscious setting that prepares our students for industry or continued graduate education.
