Communication Studies
The Department of Communication Studies, Journalism, and Film includes an outstanding community of professionals who are educated and experienced in a diverse range of areas, united by a common body of information related to the creation, application, and understanding of messages. We provide quality instruction to assist students in becoming intellectually aware citizens who are ethical, competent communicators. The department also offers a number of additional activities for students to participate in which enhance their practical and professional experience. These programs include: The State Hornet, The Debate Team, Epsilon Honor Society, and PRSSA.
