Sacramento State offers a number of ways to help provide for students' basic needs. The four funds listed below are accessible to any student. Support for basic student needs may also be available through several colleges. 

Sac State CARES  This fund provides us with the flexibility to respond to students' emerging needs such as homelessness, unforeseen financial burden, mental health crises, and so much more.	Seth Nelsen Student Emergency Grant  This fund provides for grants to students who encounter financial emergencies that may impact their ability to continue their education.
Student Emergency Housing  This fund provides shelter (and meals) for students faced with housing insecurity, as well as assistance with finding a permanent housing solution.	ASI Food Pantry  Provide food and basic necessities to Sac State students with financial hardships or food insecurity, at no cost to them.
