Design
The Department of Design strives to serve students that seek a rigorous program of study to become leaders in their respective fields. We offer a BA in Design Studies, and BFAs in Graphic Design, Interior Architecture, and Photography, as well as our new BFA in Architectural Studies!
We are where creative and critical thinking come together to respond to today’s design culture, preparing students for a wide range of fields that play a part in creating our built environment.
The Department of Design is particularly excited to raise funds for:
- New tables and chairs to modernize our design studios (KDM 113, 166) in order to create collaborative workspaces that meet multiple material needs. These stations would be similar to the one’s in the University’s new Maker’s Space.
- iPads and electronic infrastructure for the Department’s new core studio course, DSGN 10, that explores thinking and making in both two and three dimensions.
