The Seth Nelsen Student Emergency Grant Fund assists students who experience a financial emergency or unanticipated expenses causing short-term financial hardship that requires immediate attention to keep a student in college. This program is designed to assist those who cannot reasonably resolve their financial difficulty through scholarships, loans or other Financial Aid awards. Most students receiving support have been able to remain enrolled!
Donations of any size make an impact:
$25 - equivalent to transportation to get to school for one student
$50 - equivalent to gas and groceries for one student
$100 - equivalent to medical bills and utilities assistance
$250 - equivalent to car repair, medical bills, or book purchasing assistance
$500 - equivalent to laptop, rental support, or utilities, food and gas for one student
$1,500 - equivalent to eviction avoidance for one student
