Support the Sport Clubs Safety Management Program or any of our 18 sport clubs with their goals of traveling and competing on behalf of the university.
Our program is committed to developing student leaders and enhancing University pride through leadership opportunities, intercollegiate club competition and campus involvement. Club athletes feel a special bond and connection with the campus through the experiences they share with their teammates during training, practices, competitions, travel, fundraisers, community services, and campus involvement. Sport Club athletes overwhelmingly report that participating in a sport club has enhanced their overall experience at Sacramento State and impacted their decision to stay at Sac State and continue working towards their degree. This sense of belonging and connection to campus will impact these students for years to come.
Please consider donating to our safety management program to help offset costs associated with concussion management software, secondary health insurance coverage for all athletes, safety supplies, and safety certification courses for our club officers and coaches.
Another impactful option is to donate to one of our 18 sport clubs to help assist them with league fees, tournament entry fees, national governing body dues, uniforms, equipment, lodging, and travel costs.
The Sport Clubs Program consists of 18 highly competitive clubs that compete on behalf of Sacramento State in intercollegiate competitions against other universities in leagues, conferences, and tournaments at the local, regional, and national level. Each club is developed, organized, and led by Sacramento State student leaders. Between 500-600 student athletes annually participate on club teams.
Please help support our club athletes on Give Sac State Day as we strive to revolutionize the student experience through sports and leadership development!
