Our goal, through our generous donations, is to fund improvements with in our Women’s Soccer Program. With the continuous growth of Women’s Soccer in the United States it is important that we continue to grow the resources for our players we currently have and those we are trying to recruit into the Hornet Community at Sacramento State. These resources include our own golf cart which helps us not only more efficiently transport equipment, it also allows us to take our recruits around the entire campus where these players and their families can see everything that Sac State has to offer. Other goals included are to enhance our use of technology with on field data wearables that will help us manage player workloads to keep players health and less likely to be injured. Through wearables that collect hundreds of metrics we can make sure that we minimize injuries to be ready of the Big Sky Tournament and NCAA College Cup.
These donations from our generous donors will help to fund the Women’s Soccer Annual Operating costs. The operating fund covers a large variety of expenses such as recruiting cost, equipment, practice and game fuel for the athletes and travel.
Our yearly campaign goal is necessary in order to raise funds that our general operating budget doesn’t cover, such as technology wearable systems, video analysis equipment and software and golf carts. With your help these various items needed will allow us to provide a Division I experience for current players as well as prospective student athletes.
