Your contribution today helps provide students with:

• Financial support for CWC scholars. CWC awards a plethora of academic-excellence scholarships to students that aid in their collegiate retention and success. Over the past five years, CWC has awarded nearly 500 scholarships to Sac State students. 
• The opportunity to participate in faculty-led study abroad trips which are educational international experiences where students explore pan-African life, history, and culture in countries such as Ghana, Egypt, and Brazil.
• The opportunity to develop leadership skills and to explore personal and professional life choices and trajectories.
• The ability to network with career and academic professionals that mentor and support them academically, personally, and professionally. 
• Opportunities to develop research skills and present information at annual conferences such as The Association for the Study of African American Life and History (ASLAH) and others.
