The mission of the PRIDE Center at Sac State is to empower lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, queer, questioning, intersex, agender, asexual, 2-spirit, and non-binary (LGBTQ+) students and allies as individuals and members of the campus community.
The goal of the PRIDE Center is to create and cultivate an inclusive campus climate that is open, safe, and supportive of diversity in the areas of sexual orientation, gender identity, and gender expression.
Through the four pillars of Intersectionality, Community, Advocacy, and Liberation, the center’s work is accomplished via student-focused collaboration, education, outreach, and support.
