Art

The primary mission of the Department of Art continues to be engaging Sacramento State students in the fine arts within a liberal arts context. We are proud to offer two new professional degrees, Bachelor of Fine Arts and Master of Fine Arts in Studio Art, in addition to our other outstanding offerings in Art History, and Art Education.

We invite you to support our two newest giving priorities - The Art Sculpture Lab Fund and the Visiting Artist Fund. A gift to the department of art allows us to enhance our student’s success with additional educational experiences, resources, supplies, software, and creative spaces required to elevate our new and current degree programs, thus empowering our students to play an active role in creating an inspired future for our city, region and beyond.
