Sac State CARES

An unrestricted fund with students-first in mind. Some needs are foreseeable, but others can hit unexpectedly. This fund provides us with the flexibility to respond to students' emerging needs such as homelessness, unforeseen financial burden, mental health crises, and so much more. Gifts to this fund equip our students with the most essential resources required for our students to persist and succeed.

Seth Nelsen Student Emergency Grant

This fund provides for grants to students who encounter financial emergencies that may impact their ability to continue their education. The grants provide a safety net to allow students to get through the emergency and remain enrolled.

Student Emergency Housing

Provides shelter for students faced with housing insecurity and assistance with finding a permanent housing solution.

ASI Food Pantry

Provide food and basic necessities to Sac State students with financial hardships or food insecurity, at no cost to them.
