The Carlsen Center for Innovation and Entrepreneurship at Sacramento State provides access to innovation and entrepreneurship programs and mentorship. We serve as a regional hub and platform for providing approachable and accessible entrepreneurial education, community, and support to enable startup founders of all backgrounds to explore and launch their businesses.
The mission of the Carlsen Center is to make innovation and entrepreneurship pervasive and accessible throughout the Greater Sacramento Region. The success of our entrepreneurs balances on the collaboration and support between the entrepreneurial and academic ecosystems. Each ecosystem drives different value to entrepreneurs and must be balanced to ensure our region’s entrepreneurial success.
