Did you know that SSAA offers events focused on networking and professional advancement for current students as well as alumni looking to make a career move? The Alumni Association's programs provide resources for current students and alumni to learn more about life after college, paths to employment, and career success.

Scholarships
SSAA also provides dozens of scholarships every year to current students in all majors. Scholarship awards range in size from $500 to $3,500 for the academic year and help Sacramento State students pursue their higher education dreams.

Chapter Support
Through the efforts of volunteer leaders and members, each chapter hosts activities, mentors students, and many award scholarships. Your chapter support enables various chapters to provide additional scholarships, reaching more students who would otherwise be unable to attend Sacramento State.
The Golden Hive Scholarship celebrates the legacy of alumni who graduated 50 or more years ago and supports the academic pursuits of current Hornet students. Nancy and Aleck Darr founded the scholarship in honor of Nancy’s graduation in 1970. Now, the Darrs invite fellow alumni from all class years to join them in supporting students through the Golden Hive Scholarship. Please join the Darrs to change the lives of Hornets today!
