The ASI Food Pantry exists to provide food and basic necessities at no cost to Sac State students in need. The Food Pantry aims to decrease the impact that food insecurities have on the academic success of Sac State students. It is increasingly challenging for students to juggle the costs of living while working to obtain their degree. Many students are finding themselves choosing between basic essentials such as food and basic toiletries and the required costs of tuition, fees, and books. The ASI Food Pantry helps to alleviate hunger within our student community. Your donation helps the Pantry expand its variety and quality of offerings, including: fresh produce, eggs, milk, holiday baskets, finals booster kits, toiletries, and more.
Donations of any size make a huge impact:
$25 – Your gift of $25 can provide a carton of eggs to 8 students for one week
$50 – Your gift of $50 can provide a Finals Booster Kit to a student in need
$100 – Your gift of $100 can provide toiletries to 40 students for one week.
$250 – Your gift of $250 can support five Sac State students with a Thanksgiving Food Basket for the holidays
$500 – Your gift of $500 can provide milk to 200 students for one week
$1,000 – Your gift of $1,000 can help supply the pantry with culturally relevant ingredients that represent and celebrate the diverse Sac State student population
$1,500 – Your gift of $1,500 can provide quality fresh produce, eggs and milk options to students for one week
