Center for Health Practice, Policy & Research

Why we need your support

The Center for Health Practice, Policy & Research (CHPPR) is the realized vision of a group of engaged administrators and faculty from Sacramento State’s College of Health and Human Services (HHS). These early visionaries dedicated a place for HHS faculty, students, healthcare providers, community health practitioners, policy makers, and community members to engage together and collectively impact community health by promoting collaboration, inter-disciplinary practice, and innovation to reduce health inequities in California’s capital region. Currently there is no organized structure or entity within Sacramento State that is dedicated to these principles and practices.

The purpose of CHPPR is to create both a virtual and physical space for key stakeholders to collaboratively solve complex problems resulting in the reduction of health and related inequities, while improving the quality of life of community members residing in the greater Sacramento area. With your support, CHPPR will continue the mission of our early visionaries.

 How you can help

The Center for Health Practice, Policy and Research encourage gifts to the following fund, but with the ever-increasing need for philanthropic support, a gift to any department or program is greatly appreciated.

Center for Health Practice Policy and Research Fund

This fund supports CHPPR’s efforts to provide interprofessional education on and off campus, increase equity practice, develop innovate health practice partnerships to address health inequities, and create transformation through policy and research.
