You can make a difference in lives of our students while also making a positive impact on and with our many diverse community partners. We are looking for:
- 5 GOLD donations of $500.00 each to be matched by $2,500.00 from Dr. Dana Kivel, Professor and former CEC Director (2014-2020)
- 6 SILVER donations of $250.00 each to be matched by $1,500.00 from Dr. J. Ann Moylan, Professor and CEC Director
- 10 GREEN donations of $100.00 each to be matched by $1,000.00 from Dr. Christine Miller, Interim Vice Provost for Student Academic Success
- Every gift – no matter the amount – makes a huge impact. Together, we can transform lives and our community.
* Once we raise $10,000.00, an endowment fund for the CEC will be established. This will help make your gift count in perpetuity.
About the Community Engagement Center
As students participate in CEC programs, they are increasingly engaged both with the campus community and in the larger Sacramento community, resulting in an increased sense of belonging and contributing to greater persistence toward degree completion.
With your donation, CEC will continue to:
- Support service-learning courses, academic internships, and curricular community-engaged learning, as well as current CEC programs including Alternative Break, CEC Ambassadors, Constitution and Civic Engagement, Day of Service, Jumpstart, Network Café, Professional Learning Communities, Semester-long Student Volunteers, Student Volunteer Leaders, and Writing Partners.
- Help grow programs that will make community engagement opportunities a vital part of every Sacramento State student’s academic experience.
