The new cost of attendance (COA) legislation passed by the NCAA allows us to support our student-athletes financially in a greater way than ever before. COA can be awarded to student-athletes in addition to a full scholarship to help supplement living expenses not covered by a full scholarship. This allows student-athletes to live healthier and happier lifestyle where they can better focus on their academic and athletic endeavors. COA has become the standard amongst other universities in our state and to remain competitive, we want to make that the standard for the Sacramento State Men’s Basketball program. Being able to award COA to the entire team will not only impact our student-athletes in a major way but also allow us to recruit top talent.
