Rowing

Funds raised on Give Sac State Day will go directly towards enhancing our equipment, operations and student athlete experience. In addition, we have a unique opportunity for anyone (or class) that donates $3,000 or more to secure naming rights to our new Pocock X Eight, currently used by the Varsity Eight.

The following are our fundraising priorities for 2022:

2 Rowing Ergometers and 2 Erg Bikes - $4,000

to replace old ergs on campus and add 2 Erg Bikes to the boathouse bay

One set of Sweep oars and Eight Sculling oars - $7,000

Our oars are in good shape but the newest set is from 2015. Sculling oars are to replace very old Croker oars to match the 8 we bought in 2019

Enhanced Student Athlete Experience

We would like to enhance our student athlete’s experience by raising money for things not covered in our budget. Included, but not limited to summer school aid, team building events and team functions.
