Arboretum

The Arboretum at Sacramento State is a living collection of trees and other plants, containing over 400 species of trees from all over the world. The serene three acre location is a beautiful addition to the campus and community, as well as a valuable teaching resource.

Winner of the 2013 Legacy Award presented by the Sacramento Tree Foundation, the Arboretum is utilized by classes in several departments and continues to offer free guided field trips to Sacramento's public schools. The collection also provides the University and Sacramento communities with a diverse palette of what can grow and bloom in our region with a little attention to exposure and drainage. Your donations will help us continue to maintain and grow the Arboretum.
